1. Integrated Hooks
The first staple of the new SPARK clear aligners is the proprietary Integrated Hooks, an innovative approach designed to replace the standard hook or button elastic cutouts. Unlike the latter — known for their proneness to bending and breaking — SPARK’s Integrated Hooks are sturdy enough to last throughout the treatment plan. This feature makes Integrated Hooks ideal for Class II, Class III, and gummy smile corrections!
2. The TruRoot Feature
The newest TruRoot Feature allows providers to update the library roots in the SPARK Approver Software with the patient’s actual root shape as captured on the cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scan, resulting in a more thorough root visualization and treatment plan. The software will use pink to differentiate between the library roots and the patient’s, although each provider can easily customize the color code!
3. Real-Time Approval
